Description

The Gua Sha massage is based on a mixture of TCM, acupressure, lymphatic drainage and connective tissue stimulation. For Katja, it is an indispensable part of her self-care routine and ensures a radiant, firm and even complexion. In the short term, the effect is primarily an increased blood circulation and a beautiful glow. In the long term, regular massage results in smoother, more even skin. Stagnant lymph can drain, swelling subsides, collagen and elastin production are stimulated, and the jawline becomes more defined. It goes without saying that skincare products are absorbed better.

The NIVA spoon is the most effective tool for stimulating lymphatic flow and reducing swelling, especially around the eye area. For this, it is best to work in small, wave-like movements. The spherical end is perfect for stimulating acupressure points.

Application

Okay, I don't want to outsource this here, but it's really best if you watch a suitable YouTube video :-) Basically, the rule is: from bottom to top and from inside (bridge of the nose) to outside (towards the ears). Please do not press extremely hard!!

When you should not do a Gua Sha massage:

* In case of severe acne
* In case of acute rosacea
* If you have had Botox or fillers injected in the last three months
* In case of thrombosis, advanced arteriosclerosis, cancer or an aneurysm
