Sun
Sunlight is good for the soul and provides us with vital vitamin D. However, by now you all know: UV rays are dangerous and also the number one cause of premature skin aging. Sun protection is therefore essential! Natural cosmetic and conventional sunscreens differ primarily in the type of filter used. While chemical filters in conventional products convert UV rays into heat within the skin, mineral filters act like a shield on the skin, reflecting the radiation. The downside: mineral filters are still difficult to incorporate into light fluids that are invisible on the skin. The textures of natural cosmetic sunscreens are therefore usually richer than conventional ones and sometimes leave a white film on the skin. However, a lot has changed in recent years and many products no longer have to hide! My current favorites are the creams from Ruhi, Le Prunier and de Mamiel. All three have absolutely excellent textures!
If you've spent a day in the sun, you can then support your skin's regeneration with a soothing after-sun care product, such as the Fluide après soleil. It moisturizes the skin, absorbs quickly, and refreshes. Here, too, Alga-Gorria protects your skin from free radical damage. The light care product smells of coconut and shea butter - like vacation!
