Prickly Pear Seed Oil (50ml)

Description

One of the world's most expensive oils is prickly pear seed oil, which you may already know from the Kahina Rollerball for the eye area. It is extremely rich in amino acids, vitamin K, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. It is therefore an ideal moisturizer that restores the elasticity of your tired cells and makes the skin soft and supple. It has a slightly richer texture than argan oil and is therefore very popular with anyone who needs a little more care. Kahina's oil is obtained exclusively from the valuable seeds of the prickly pear - no stems or leaves are pressed with it, as is the case with some other, much cheaper oils. As you can imagine, harvesting is no pleasure: we're talking about a cactus! First, the fruits are harvested, then the seeds are separated from the pulp, washed and dried, and finally cold-pressed. I don't even know how many of the tiny seeds are needed for 50ml, but I imagine it's a hell of a lot! Given such an effort, I actually consider the price to be absolutely fair. My recommendation: use it mindfully.

Application

Apply 1-3 drops to cleansed face morning and/or evening. If necessary, follow with additional skincare.
