Cleansing Balm (50ml)

Description

An absolutely heavenly cleansing balm for virtually all skin types - dry, stressed, oily, tired, no matter. It works like a cleansing oil and leaves the skin wonderfully soft and nourished. The special thing: in contact with water, the balm becomes milky and you can simply wash it off - so you don't need a cloth for it. It contains the finest ingredients: The base is babassu oil (rich in linoleic, oleic and myristic acid as well as vitamin E), which has wonderful anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. Next in line: murumuru butter - rich in essential fatty acids, omega-6, omega-3 and, tadaaa, pro-vitamin A. Oh. And lauric acid - a rather rare medium-chain fatty acid that has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. Willow bark contains salicylic acid, so it works wonders against impurities and acts as a gentle exfoliant. The hibiscus I love so much also contributes to this - a natural AHA (fruit acid) source that wonderfully clears clogged pores and helps the skin appear firmer. This is also due to the fact that plenty of antioxidants protect the skin from free radicals and help the skin retain moisture longer. Oh man, I'm talking too much again at this point. And I haven't even mentioned the plum kernel extract (vitamin C and E. Folic acid. Carotenoids.), or the clarifying and at the same time nourishing lily, which plumps up and smooths the skin. Oh, and the scent, hmmm....deeeelicious! A little rose geranium, a little rosemary and a tiny bit of ylang ylang. So, but now I'll stop.

Application

Apply a pea-sized amount to dry face and massage gently. If you want to take your time and are in the bathtub: place a warm, damp cloth on your face and inhale the essential oils for a few minutes. Emulsify with water and rinse off. If you don't need to remove make-up or sunscreen (or like to use the balm in the morning), you can apply a small amount of balm to damp skin, then you essentially create your own cleansing emulsion.
