My favorite way to start the day - with Cosmic Dealer's caffeine-free "Koffee." With roasted barley and rye, as well as chicory root and maitake. In TCM, the maitake medicinal mushroom is considered a great immunomodulator that is said to strengthen the immune system, regulate blood sugar levels, and fight inflammation in the body. Zero added sugar, so feel free to add some individually if needed. Although that would probably negate the blood sugar regulation :-)).
Application
Dissolve 1 tsp (approx. 6g) in a mixture of water (3/4) and milk (1/4) - or milk alternative. Stir well or, even better, mix in a milk frother for a wonderfully creamy result. Can be enjoyed hot or cold!
