Woohoo...I'm in love again: Kirsten has now launched a concealer palette, in a cool format, I think: at first I thought it was a liquid concealer, because of the applicator and so on. Ha! Wrong! It's creamy and therefore perfect to dispense and work with. Of course, I had to take one home immediately :-))
Regarding color selection: the palette can be roughly divided into three sections - the shades for light skin tones begin with 'F' (fair), for medium with 'M' (medium) and for darker with 'D' (dark). The foundation colors I've included are just a guideline, and the concealer will only match 1:1 if it's used on the face for coverage and not to brighten the under-eye area. In that case, you should choose a lighter shade.
F110 - very light nude with a pink undertone. For all Snow White types and users of Lightness and Like Porcelain foundation shades.
F112 - very light but with a more yellow undertone compared to F110.
F120 - light beige, a hint of yellow. My shade, for example, so for everyone who uses Silken and Paper Thin.
F130 - is illogically lighter than F120, don't ask me why. Matches Silken perfectly, has a clear yellowish undertone.
F140 - a relatively neutral beige with a veeery slightly pink undertone. Suitable for Feathery and Just Sheer.
M210 - medium beige tone, clearly warm, so rather yellowish.
M220 - a relatively neutral beige, matches Just Sheer and Illusion.
M230 - a warm beige with a golden undertone, matches Illusion and Velvety well.
M240 - is already quite dark, clearly with a reddish undertone. Suitable for Transparent and Dainty.
D310 - actually almost a touch lighter than M240 and not quite as reddish. Also matches Transparent and Dainty.
D320 - so okay, between D310 and D320 there's not just one shade, but probably five! D320 is clearly a warm brown with yellow undertones, Delicate matches accordingly.
D326 - a light brown with yellow undertones.
D330 - a dark brown with red undertones - suitable for Flawless.
D340 - another good bit darker than D330, a relatively neutral brown, matches Perfection.
D350 - a very dark brown, neutral undertones.
Application
To cover dark circles: apply three dots under the eye and blend in with a brush. You can also use your fingers, but I find the result is better with a brush. Some might feel the opposite... hmmm.... Anyway: for longer hold, set once with Translucent Powder. If you want to cover redness on your face, first apply the concealer and then gently pat the foundation into the corresponding areas (if you apply the foundation with stroking movements, it can happen that you remove the concealer again. That would defeat the purpose....)
