Pai Skincare

The British company Pai Skincare is actually the reason this online and offline shop exists at all. More than a decade ago (oh, that makes me sound terribly old!), it was the Chamomile & Rosehip Calming Day Cream and the Calming Cleanser Middlemist Seven that allowed my rosacea-prone skin to transition from conventional pharmacy cosmetics. To this day, these two products are my absolute favorites for hypersensitive, delicate, and redness-prone skin (such as with couperose or rosacea). I think it's great that Sarah, the founder of Pai Skincare, has built her own production facility in London, meaning everything is developed and manufactured right there. All products are vegan, cruelty-free, and Cosmos organic-certified. The packaging is 100% plastic-free, almost half of the products come in glass bottles, and the tubes are made from bio-based and recycled plastic. For me, Pai Skincare is a role model in terms of sustainable and ethical production – and the top-formulated products speak for themselves anyway.
